Please use DXVK, which improves game compatibility with modern systems.

1. Find the game directory with the Sherlock.exe file
   For the Steam version.
   - Steam Library > game "Properties" > "Installed Files" > "Browse"
   - In the game directory open Binaries\Win64
   The full path should be similar to the one below:
   C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sherlock Holmes - The Devil's Daughter\Binaries\Win64
   and this directory should have Sherlock.exe file.
2. Download attached dxvk-2.6.2-sh8.zip
3. Copy d3d11.dll and dxgi.dll to the game directory with the Sherlock.exe
